About La Brasa

La Brasa is a private app for couples, made by an independent developer in Portugal. It started with one idea: the hardest conversation in a relationship gets easier when you already know you both want the same thing.

What we make

An Android app for two. A daily question you answer before you see your partner's answer. Cards you rate on your own, where only what you both want becomes a match. Games from sweet to spicy, at the level each of you picks. And a small ember you grow together, on your home screen. The app is written in English, European Portuguese and Spain's Spanish, by people.

What we believe about privacy

What a couple shares is nobody else's business. La Brasa has no ads, uses analytics only if you say yes (never what you share), notifications never show what anyone wrote, and you can delete everything from Settings. The details are in the privacy policy.

How the blog is written

• Useful first. Every post should help even if you never install the app. When a post mentions La Brasa, it's because a feature does that job, and we show the real screen.
• Checked. Claims about relationships and health link to their sources. We aren't therapists, and when something calls for one, we say so.
• Kept sweet. Posts stay at the mild end: playful, never explicit.
• Written for each language. Spanish and Portuguese posts are written for readers in Spain and Portugal, not put through a translator.

How we compare apps

Comparisons name other apps only to identify them. Every fact about them (price, stores, languages, features, what their store listing says about data) comes from their own store listing or site, with the date we checked, and each review says where that app does better than ours. If something is out of date or wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
